Saud Bahwan Automotive recently announced the successful completion of the Toyota Service, National Skills Contest, a prestigious event designed to recognise and reward Toyota Oman’s outstanding service personnel who demonstrate exceptional skills and dedication. This annual contest showcases the talent and technical expertise of Toyota’s service staff, highlighting their passion for maintaining the highest standards of customer care.
During the event, participants from Toyota service centres across the country competed in various categories, from technical diagnostics to customer service excellence. The month-long contest had been designed in two segments, including written tests and on-vehicle tests. The candidates were also required to do actual demonstrations of denting, painting and fault-rectification in order to evaluate their skills. A panel of judges over the period, observed each contestant and evaluated their performance with a scoring sheet, which covered important parameters. Each contestant brought forth a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise, representing the pinnacle of Toyota’s renowned commitment to customer satisfaction and vehicle care.
At the conclusion of the National Skills Contest, an award ceremony was held to honour and felicitate outstanding Toyota service performers. Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Bahwan, Managing Director – Corporate, Saud Bahwan Group, handed over the awards to the outstanding performers across the different categories and applauded their passionate efforts.
